1878 morgan toned. is this a VAM?

You have a 7/8 tail feather Morgan in decent condition; you need to check which VAM applies and then look for pricing based on that. Here's the instructions for attributing 1878 Morgans:

Follow the steps, and you'll be able to tell what VAM and therefore what value the coin could have; good luck! Also, nice coin.

Thank you, hard to find pricing on varieties. I appreciate the help.

With out seeing the rest of the coin in hand 

that is a VAM-38 - There are other 7/8's /5's but not enough pictures of areas of interest to discern anything more

1878 P Morgan 7/8 - 5 Feather Long Nock

Looks like some cleaning residue on the head and cap - I would send it
