Hello,

I just joined this site so I could get some info on this coin I found in my house. It’s a gold coin from 1913 and is in really good condition... can anyone help me out? Thanks!

First off, welcome to the Forum.

What you have is called a Gold Sovereign.  Don't know if it is a Half Sovereign or a Full Sovereign as you didn't give the size.

Most of these unless it is a high grade are not worth too much over bullion which in the case of a Full Sovereign is around $350.00 A Half Sovereign naturally would be less.

Also do NOT hold a coin in your bare hands. Oil from your fingers can cause fingerprints which cannot be removed. And also please crop your pictures before posting.

Thanks so much for the info! Just out of curiosity, what would make it high grade?

A high grade (MS65 or higher) is a coin that has never been circulated and has a few tiny marks that can be seen with a glass. These probably have had a minimum of handling and have been kept in some sort of a holder since they were minted.
