GSA Hard pack grading question

When grading the GSA CC hard packs, do the graders open the packs to view the coin?

I have a hard pack which looks like its been heat sealed (perhaps a hot knife run against the length of the sides, effectively melting them together). Hadn't really thought about it as I wasn't going to even try to remove it from the package, but then thought about sending it in for grading and wanted to know if that would prohibit it from being graded(as a GSA hard pack coin).

Thank you for your message. GSA CC hard packs are not opened by the graders to view the coin. The coins are graded within the plastic case.

GSA hard packs are always evaluated for any tampering or mishandling before they are graded.
