Real or artificial toning?

It appears that this coin was cleaned and then placed in a cardboard or paper holder that partially masked the reverse as the coin retoned. The toning is not artificial, as it probably occurred as a natural consequence of its immediate environment, but the cleaning alone would result in a Details grade.
