Sacagawea color nickel

Side struck me as the most funny, plus the golden color. There is a thin ribbon of bright metal on the side of the nickel. If more pictures are necessary please ask...

It is a 2006 nickel first year of the new face, wondering if it might be an experimental strike.

Yes, many rolls were saved as if these were part of the Westward Ho series. They even gave them a snappy marketing name - back to Monticello. Between the conmen and the terminally gullible, we get these kinds of things.

I can vouch for this.  I bought a collection this year that included some OBW rolls of 2006 and many of them, especially those on the end, had a golden hue for toning.
