Unusual But Not Important Change Find

Yesterday morning I grabbed breakfast at the Capitol's cafeteria. I got three quarters in my change, and as usual, I checked them out. One had an unusual look. A close look revealed it was a 1968-S impaired proof. The fields on the reverse still had decent mirrors, but the obverse ones, more accessible to damage, were pretty muted.

This is the point where you tell us you sold it on Etsy and are now retiring to your private island off the coast of Baja.

Nah, I just put it in a plastic tube with every other quarter I get. After a few months, I give each coin in each roll a second look and return them to my bank where someone else can CRH them to their heart's content. Lord knows I don't CRH.
