Looking for opinions on cause of error and value of coin and should I grade or not grade? The "W" in God "W"e Trust appears on die chip.

Not an error, it's PMD. Looks like it has been squeezed with something. Would not be gradeable.

My opinion only if it was pressed via a pair of pliers or a vise of some sort the deepest point would be flat and not leaving "W' impressed so clearly.

A die chip would leave a raised area on the surface of the coin, not a sunk-in area. Your coin has been damaged by something.

The "W" was raised above the coin's surface enough that even the damage could not obliterate it entirely.
