Welcome to the forum.

A doubled die is formed during the die making process, when the die is being imprinted by the hub. This is not what your coin has.

That is some intense mechanical doubling, which happened during the striking process. It is pretty interesting looking, but is so common that it doesn't command any premium. Still, it looks cool.

Thanks. As is usually the case, as soon as I ask a question I stumble on the answer. A little more digging would've curtailed the need for this post. I now have a better understanding of the difference between double die versus machine doubling. Thank you for your response. All input is always appreciated.
