I would like an opinion on the color of these two Lincoln 1919 S coins. My guess is they are both either cleaned or altered color.

They have both been cleaned with something that altered the colour.

"Back in the day", it was not unusual for collectors to clean their coins as they thought that bright and shiny was better than original. That is why you find so many of the older coins that have been cleaned or even polished.
