2 posts in this topic

my family had gotten me 20$ in penny rolls and as I was going thru them I had found a 1945 penny that was copper on one side and I think zinc on the other. I can not seem to find anything on this penny. it is not magnetic but it is definitely an error. I would like to learn more but cant seem to find any thing about it. Can anyone help me out

Welcome to the forum.

As JKK answered in your other thread, it has been plated by someone after it left the mint, so it is not an error.

By the way, you can respond to your original post if you want to add another picture. You don't have to create another thread. That will make it easier to get proper answers to your questions.
