My new label policy (to those of you that care)

4 posts in this topic

Thanx to those of you that commented on whether you would rather have a raw coin or a slab with a sticker on it. I have decided for the time being to leave the coins encapsulated and will place my opinion on a sticker that does NOT cover the service's opinion.

Hi Julian,

I think your policy change is a good idea. Those who don't care about the slab won't really care. Those who care at least a little bit about the slab would likely find this policy a positive development.

Hi Julian, I agree with EVP in that those who require the opinion written on the slab will still be able to utilize that opinion while those who do not care so much about it can simply ignore it and formulate their own decision. It seems like a win-win situation.

Hi Julian,

Thanks for asking what we think, and for taking the opinions of the Board members into account !! We are all collectors and potential customers !!

I was one of the guys who was not happy about your practice of covering the slab grade. I think your willingness to change your policy is great, and it will make it easier for me to evaluate your coins for purchase.

I will continue to value your own grading opinion, based on your years of professional experience. Being able to see the slab grade will help to complete the picture. I will be sure to stop by at your table and try to find something to buy next time I am at a show !!! smile.gif

Best regards,

Sunnywood
