DDO, DDR, RPM & Strike Thru Buffalo

4 posts in this topic

I have a Buffalo Nickel, 1935 D, that appears to have:

- DDO - DATE, Feathers, Neck

- DDR - FIVE CENTS, UNUM

- RPM - Possibly re-punched mintmark

- ERROR - Strike through:

                  - Hot Lips on Indian

                  - Hump on Buffalos Back by UNUM

                  - L in LIBERTY

Have you ever heard of a Buffalo Nickel with this many varieties/errors? If I send this coin in for certification, what would it take for:

- variety/error fees?

- room to enter all variety/error documentation in coin holder?

It's unlikely that one coin will have all those features, but it's  not impossible. When you submit it for grading check both the VarietyPlus and Mint Error boxes. Our specialists will look for any and all applicable features.

That won't be necessary. All variety coins are routed to me, while all mint errors go to my associate, David Camire.
