Help please indentifying ancient coins: 5 of 8

2 posts in this topic

Hello,

As a complete newbie, I would really appreciate any help identifying this coin.  There are 8 in total, separate emails.

COIN #5

This one is (in millimeters):

Longest axis:      19.4

90° away:           17.6

Thickness:          1.4

My scales aren’t accurate enough to weigh it with any degree of certainty, but I’d guess ~3 grams but this could be way wrong.

The metal appears to be bronze, perhaps.  Not quite as dark as I'd expect for bronze, though - more milk chocolate than dark chocolate.

This one is deeply corroded. The only thing I can identify is a human form advancing right. That's probably not enough for an easy ID, at least not by me. I'm going to move on to the next for now.
