Hello, does anyone if this could be a doubled ear lobe variety or just die deterioration especially on the date. I am too much of a newbie to tell the difference. I thank you for your time.

That is just strike doubling, and it's evident on Lincoln's lips, too. It's fairly common, and there is no added value.
