Silver Mongol?

Pretty sure it's not Mongolian. They weren't Muslims.

My bet is on a silver rupee from the Indian princely states or other kingdoms, early 1800s. Good detail on it, should be a cinch to look up. The photos are too vague/distant for me to work with, but if you look for the 'zarb fi' portion of the -script, that'll tell you where it was minted. Although I've never understood why it is represented as 'zarb' when the letter in question is 'dad', as in the deep D. Maybe it's dialectical.
