Mercury Dime & Standing Liberty Quarter Submission Question.

2 posts in this topic

When submitting Mercury Dimes and/or Standing Liberty Quarters do I need to request that NGC include "Full Bands" and "Full Head" on the label or does NGC automatically do so?

Thanks.

With submissions of raw coins any supplemental grading feature is checked by the graders automatically. This includes PL, DPL, Cameo, Ultra Cameo, FB, FT, 5FS or 6FS, FH and FBL. It also applies to star designations and plus grades.

The only time you'd need to specify what you're seeking is when submitting a coin already certified by NGC to have the extra feature added. All of the above can be added with Designation Review service alone, but the plus sign requires a full regrade.
