Circle impression?

This penny is uncirculated,  any idea what might csuse this? 

On the second coin one I know the dots are post what about the blank side it is circulated? Its blank on the date side.

The top one is damaged from contact with something after it was minted. Even though it has never been spent, it can still go through a lot of contact with machines and other coins before it enters circulation. Transporting, bagging, counting, rolling, and other processes can put marks on a coin that has never been in circulation.

If the second coin is only blank on one side, it was ground and smoothed  by someone, possibly as the beginning of a love token or something similar.

Yes,  you are right,  it is only blank on one side... Thanks again,  im learning alot from this forum.

It may be my imagination "making shapes in the clouds," but it looks like someone crudely attempted to punch the name "DAVID."
