Conservation and Keep Grade

Can I send in a NGC graded coin for conversation and request it only be conserved if it will maintain the same grade once conserved? Would this also be possible for a crossover PCGS coin.

Thank you for your post. For NGC graded coins that you are submitting for regrade and NCS, we will only remove the coin from the holder to perform the services if our graders determine that conservation will improve the grade. If the graders determine that the grade will not improve from conservation the coin will be sent back in the original holder and you will be charged a $5 processing fee plus return shipping and handling.

For PCGS coins we would follow the same steps above as we would only conserve and grade the coin if it meets your minimum grading requirements. If the coin does not meet the requirements the same fees above will apply. Please refer to the link below for the full details of our crossover service and minimum grade criteria.
