Welcome to the forum.

It appears that another coin was pressed into your coin, transferring some of the letters and part of the design, in reverse, to your coin. It looks like the first two letters of "UNUM" on a Jefferson nickel. (backwards)

It is not a mint error, in my opinion,  just post-mint damage.
