CollectorCoins
I have a (pattern) coin here which I can`t identify as either genuine or fake. Possibly silver... Note the circular lines in the second image. The colour is incorrect in the second image due it being a scan. The copper spots are superficial and seem to originate from other coins. More pictures and technical data are available upon request because I can`t add them at this time. Administrator Matt G Posted July 16, 2018 Administrator Share Posted July 16, 2018 Thank you for your post. Unfortunately, we are not able to determine a coin's authenticity via images. I will move this post to the World Coin chat board section as some of our other members may be willing to lend their opinion.
JKK
I'm assuming you've done the magnet test.
CollectorCoins
The magnet is not that great. At least I would suggest using a block of ice. Although 0.500 silver is difficult to pinpoint with ice. It therefore possibly is 0.500 silver, I can`t exclude it. Suggestions? Can anyone identify it (as fake or genuine)?
