I have found a few 2009 D Zachary Taylor dollar coins where the D mint mark is right next to the 9 as being different from most where the D is separated from the 9 by a space.  Have you found these?  Would they be considered a mint error or just early vs late mintage?

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we would need to see the coin in hand to determine if it is a mint error.
