1993 p error coin

4 posts in this topic

I was searching pocket change the other day and came across a neat error. I’m not that experienced with error coins and would like help on identifying what kind of error my coin has and what it’s value may be. From what I can tell it’s a 1993 p dime that has a triple strike on it. I would appreciate any help on this coin.

The design in the undamaged part does not appear to be struck multiple times,  and the design in the damaged part seems to be in the right places, more or less, so I am calling this one post mint damage. Looks like it got caught in a machine of some sort.

Correct. this not a Mint error but a boggered up dime that got hammered up somehow. You'll find these in the reject tray of a Coin Star machine.
