Does anyone have any information AT ALL about this coin> https://www.ngccoin.com/certlookup/3760898-010/NGCAncients/ ?????????????? All Ive been able to find after MONTHS of research is a coin at MFA > http://mfa.org/collections/object/drachm-of-tabai-with-head-of-dionysos-struck-under-kettas-1586 . No sales records, nothing. Please help. Thank you

Definitely a Sear 4943, described in that entry as BMC 18.160,1. Touches up on all the important points of identification. Nice piece. My copy, which is dated 1979, gives a nominal value of £250; forty years later, that's all but meaningless. The MFA entry to which you linked says they forked over over $22K for this and an unknown number of other coins, a meaningless figure when we don't know what other coins those were.

Thank you for answering. Is there any way to locate any recent sales? I know this Tabae drachm is extremely rare because I CANNOT find ANY sales of this type anywhwere CNG, ROMA, NAC, NOMOS etc...Never once has this type sold. Please help
