Can you submit coins directly from the mint to NGC?

I'm new to submitting coins from the mint. I have a few mint subscriptions, and buy direct sometimes.

Is it better to just get from mint and only ship capsules?

Is it worth the $5/coin to get the original capsules back?

Are Early Release/First Release designations worth it?

Anything else I should consider related to this topic?
