Grading~auction process for ?rare nickel

I am relatively new to coin collecting and have yet to send any to be graded/appraised, but considering sending this 1969S toned Jefferson nickel(??FS??) What can I expect from the grading company if the coin does receive Full Steps status, considering it's rarity? Will they recommend auction services?How long does the process take, and realistically ,how much will they charge me upfront to have it included it in an online auction?* Not sure why the pic was cut short on either end.*
