How do you tell a proof from business strike on brown copper cents?

Hi,

 

There are certain diagnostics for many copper proofs to distinguish them from business strike coins, but usually the most obvious way to separate the two is the presence or lack thereof of sharp, squared rims, the arrangement of the luster, and the sharpness of the details of the piece. Most proof coins will exhibit sharper details and a squared off rim.
