I graduated from Kaimuki High. My mother was six years old at the time and hide in some bushes on the side of the road during the attack and at the same time my grandfather was bringing his boat into Kewalo and got shot at. His boat was later conscripted and turned into a patrol boat for the duration of the war.

 

My family always remembers Pearl Harbor!
