I have a "coin" that has a tab so the coin can be worn. I'm assuming none of the medals were issued this way? One side is so well done that it doesn't look like it was added on. Can someone confirm that none were made this way and assume the value is much lower since it has been altered?

Thanks for your question. It would be an altered piece as none were made with any type of attachment or loop for hanging or wearing.
