NGC Designation Review - Star Designation

Is there any chance of losing a star on a designation review? I have a PF cameo * coin that I want to submit for review as a UCAM, but I don't want to lose the star. It is a pre-1950 proof so there is risk to me if it could lose the star.

If the coin already includes the star designation, it would be guaranteed when you submit the coin for Ultra Cameo designation review.
