type of minting process for Malaysia Sen

hi,

 

there is a confusion within me. i wonder what type of minting process for preparing the planchet for magnetic type of Sen in Malaysia. is it Copper clad steel or bronze clad steel or copper plated steel or copper electroplated steel?

Thanks for your question. The. Malaysia Sen were Copper Clad Steel from 1981-1988 and then Bronze Clad Steel from 1989 on.
