Are These Medals OK for NGC to Grade / Encapsulate ?

3 posts in this topic

I would like to find out if "Magnificent Six" coin medal series of silver medals by Toivo Johnson, between 1961 and 1964, are considered OK for grading and encapsulation by NGC.

The medals are 76 mm (3 inch) and were produced by Metal Arts Co. of Rochester, NY with edge notation as such and includes .999 silver and (usually) serial number of issue as well.

There are six medals in the set honoring:

1. Augustus Saint Gaudens

2. Victor D. Brenner

3. Charles E. Barber

4. Christian Gobrecht

5. Euaenetos

6. James B. Longacre / George Morgan

These are images of the obverse and reverse of the 1962 Charles Barber issue:

Thanks for your assistance.
