I would love to own one that has a current known Pop of 0 known or one just totally undocumented to even exist would be even better.

 

It happens and maybe if I collect these long enough I'll get that honor.

 

Any members have or had this experience? For the latter if it was a totally unknown what was the process to get your Pattern/Trial/Splasher listed?

Lots of research and lots of digging to confirm the findings. Result: 2 previously unknown gold $10 patterns for 1907; 1 previously unknown 1922 Peace dollar pattern; 1 previously unknown 1922 Peace dollar trial piece (never produced). It's fun to accomplish this and, if it is properly documented, it gets recognized.
