Insurance value on submissions

I have submitted a lot of coins over the past several years with not problem. However I have always wondered about insured value.

When sending the coins in it is an easy thing, the value I place on them. However sometimes the value being sent in is close or less than the grading fees. Does NGC add the grading fees to the value when sending them back? If they were lost in the return mail I would be out my value and the grading fees.

Thanks for your question. NGC does not add the grading fees to the insurance value when sending them back.
