1st 1oz BU Libertad with a PL Designation

I acquired this coins as part of my set.

 

This coin was purchased raw and i knew i had something special. I submitted it for grading along with a few other 1990s but because this was the first and only libertad to be given the PL designation its now in my registery set. As the collect base keeps growing i think there could be more coins like this that appear. Over the past year of collecting about 1 thousand ounces of libertads this was also the first truely unique coin i have found. Right now i have 2 other coins with NGC that i also think will get the PL designation.

 

See more journals by TMCGRADYOne thing that was cool, when i wanted to use this coin as part of my registry set, they had to make a new slot for it, a nice rarity.
