Why wont you grade Chinese Cast Coins / Canadian Trade Dollars

Dear NGC,

 

Because of the proliferation of counterfeit Chinese cast coins many collectors have left the market. Might NGC entertain the idea of entering grading Chinese Cast coins as a way of saving the market from these forgeries?

 

On a further note perhaps NGC would grade Canadian Trade Dollars as well. They are very popular items in Canada.

Thank you for the suggestion but at this time NGC has no plans to grade Chinese cast coins.

 

Regarding Canadian Trade Dollars, would you please provide examples of the specific coins you had in mind? Links or photos may be sent to me via private message here on the boards or by email at dena@ngccoin.com
