1909 Plain Lincoln Cent in Matte Proof

I did not go to the Summer FUN show with the idea of buying this piece, but the quality of the coin plus the PCGS holder sold it to me. The new clean prongs really let you see the whole coin, including the squared off rims which are important in the attribution of a Matte Proof. The coin is a PR-66, R&B although the color is really a subdued red. It is my understanding that a group of these have come to the market which has lowered the prices, at least for a while.
