I don't know whether it's the result of improper rinsing after a dipping, but I don't think what you're seeing is the result of over dipping.

This appears to be environmental damage, i.e., various degrees of corrosion. I don't see any dip discoloration spotting.

It's really difficult to ascertain what exactly caused the anomalies on this Peso, it could have very well been in Pancho Villa's sock drawer. Good imaging though.

obverse appears to have some pvc damage, reverse not sure - possibly environmental damage.
