NGC Photo Vision

Hello, I'm thinking about using your Photo Vision service on my next submission. I would like some specific information around how the photos are taken.

Are the photos taken before or after they are encapsulated?

Is special lighting and care taken to capture 'toned' coins?

Is the turnaround time 10-14 additional days on top of the grading turnaround, or is it included inside of the grading turnaround.

Thank you.

Hello,

Thank you for the questions.

The photos are taken after the coins are encapsulated.

We make every effort to capture toning and other important qualities when imaging your coins.

The turnaround is usually only a few days longer than the grading tier's turnaround time but holidays and other delays can impact turnaround times for imaging services.
