I would agree, though I never thought about these coins in this context before.

 

As to which world or ancient coin is held in the highest regard, I don't know that either. .I once saw a listing of the ten most valuable coins (US, foreign and ancient) and I had never heard of teh non-US before.

 

I can name the most highly regardedc oins in my series and some others.
