Hi please can anyone tell me what this coin is called... its a coin from the states i know this much... it looks like a 5cent thats been struck, with two different years 1985 and 1986 on it but no actual value.. posting a pick..

The coin is commonly referred to as a Jefferson Nickel. But if the 1985 date is on one side and the 1986 date is on the other side, it looks like you have a worthless magician's coin. It usually works better if the date and mint mark match, but still worthless either way it goes.

You have two nickels, or U.S. Five cent pieces that were sawed in half and joined together. The piece has no value, but is a curiosity.
