Correcting a description on NGC label

2 posts in this topic

Hello, and thanks so much for your thoughts and input.

In brief, I have a coin (one of several submitted to NGC when "body bags" were still used), that is improperly labeled. The date and "planchet flaw" designations are correct, but my coin is not the "Royalist Issue" to the best of my knowledge.

I am wondering if NGC has a policy for redoing a coin such as this when an error is made on the label.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thank you for the question. If the coin is not encapsulated in an NGC holder we would not send a different label. Your coin would need to be resubmitted to NGC for grading.
