Guess the Mint Mark - 1916 Merc

So, I am going through a bag of wheat pennies that I saved long ago and came across this 1916 Mercury Dime. This is one nasty coin, but it is a 1916 and it does have the remnants of a mint mark. My guess is that it is an S (although I've compared it to the 1916-S in my old Whitman and the location and angle of the mint mark seem to be a little different -- maybe just due to the flattening of the mark from wear). Any other thoughts?
