Hi Folks,

 

Just picked up a nice 1926 Near 6 Nickel. I like the detail in the crown. The picture not doing it justice but from the pic anyone have any ideas on grading, trends value?

Oh OK, I thought this was about grading coins not grading USA coins, my bad ..

We take all kinds here. Some of the paper folk even post from time to time. The world forum is deader than King Joffrey; I don't recommend posting there.

 

The coin you posted looks to be either a high VF or a low EF. I'd need better pictures to refine that further.

I already put it in a 2x2 but was able to get enough light on the crown to show the details better.

 

I think you are right. The grade likely about VF30 to EF40. A nice $50-90 coin for $20.
