Star City Homer
There is a camel on a 10 yuan China/Japanese puppet bank note. I couldn't find it in the JNDA--either I missed it or it just isn't there with some of the other military notes/occupied territories. However, there is one on eBay. I'm not a 'note' person so this is all I could come up with.

Member Jennifer F. Posted January 26, 2015 Author Member Share Posted January 26, 2015 Q: It's not uncommon for animals to appear on banknotes, but which beast of burden seems to be out of place on a Japanese banknote? A: A Bactrian camel appears on the front of a 10 Yuan note from the Meng Chiang Bank, a Japanese puppet bank under nominal Chinese sovereignty. This particular breed is actually native to the steppes of Central Asia. Thank you to everyone who participated this week and congratulations to our winners Stork and cpm9ball. We will get your prizes out to you ASAP. Have a great week, everyone!
