The 1994 and 1997 specimen nickels that came in the Jefferson and Botanic Garden commemorative sets, respectively, are really quite nice. They have a cool satin proof finish and, in some cases, acquire nice toning from the Mint packaging. Nice coins for either the Jefferson or modern commemorative collector (as is the 1998 specimen Kennedy half which also has a matte satin finish).
