Submission of 50th Anniversary Kennedys

2 posts in this topic

A whole bunch of questions.....

1: Do these sets have to be sent to NGC in the original; unopened mint shipping package?

2: Are these coins able to get a set pedigree (kind of like the 25th anniversary silver eagle set)? or are these simply going to slabbed individually

3: Why do these have to be submitted under the early bird tier - that is crazy expensive to get a single set graded ($120!!!!!!! for a single set)

4: Is there a bulk rate if I sent in 25 sets (100 coins total)?

Jeff - Thanks for the information and sorry for the number of questions.

Jeff,

Thanks for the questions.

1. We recommend that you send the coins in the capsules only. You should not send the rest of the packaging. If you would like the capsules returned to you, select Return Mint Packaging on the NGC Submission Form.

2. These coins will be labeled "High Relief" to distinguish them from the regular 2014-dated Kennedy coins. Since they are sold only in a set we are not labeling them with a set pedigree.

3. These sets require special handling by NGC because of the capsules/mint packaging and special labels so we are requiring that they be submitted under the Early Bird tier.

4. NGC does offer bulk submission rates on 100 or more coins. Please contact Scott Heller at 1-800-NGC-COIN (642-2646) or sheller@ngccoin.com for bulk submission rates.
