You snooze ---- You loose!!

Friends,

I have been adding some great TOP POP coins to my MODERN sets lately. I don't really make the income to afford these jewels but have been working overtime to get them paid for . It is GREAT to have such friends here that will accept the I.O.U's I needed lately to pull the purchases off and get them loaded. :)

My computer died this month which I guess -- 8 years is a good life span ??? Working on my wife's laptop --- SUCKS!!! Work is looking like a time bomb fixing to explode!! I CAN'T KEEP UP!!!

I hope everyone is finding the coins they are looking for!!

Seems like now is the BEST TIME ----FOR A GREAT DEAL!!!

ENJOY COIN COLLECTING---Rick

What top pops did you get?

8 years is a great lifespan for a PC, especially if it is used everyday. Many a pc have failed just because of Metal Whiskering.

Does anyone remember blowing on a NES game to get it to work. You were blowing off the tin/lead whiskers that grow that make the cartridge fail its electrical test and the system won't boot it.

Why do I know this information?

Hey Doug,

I grabbed a few pennies. 1989-D,1995, 1995-D, 1997-D, 2001-D,All ms68RD's.

The new .25 additions in MS67 were 1966, 1968, 1968-D, 1971-D, 1981, 1992, 1995. A 2000-D Maryland state quarter graded MS68 and a SMS 1967 graded MS68. The 1967 SMS was not the Cameo I was searching for but is a step closer!! :)

I also added many nickels this summer but don't have the list here. Traded a bunch of coins for 80's and 1990's PF70UC coins to add to my proof sets and purchasing a few this weekend as well. .50c 1992, 1994, 1995, 1997 sil,

I walked into a silver shop my friend owns and he offered me a few coins graded by NGC. One coin was 2000-D Sac MILLINIUM SET MS67PL. I grabbed that coin and 2 coin folders - 1793 to 1857 Large Cents - Liberty Head Halves 1907 to 1915 ------ $20 for the lot. lol

All in all it has been and still is a great summer for adding to the modern sets.

Later----Rick
