3 posts in this topic

I have several pieces of exonumia consigned to Shane's auction this week. Check them out.

(1861-65), Bridgeport, CT; AW Wallace Bakery. NGC MS64 RB. A nice store card with pictorial reverse and tons of mint red remaining.

AW Wallace

(1861-65), Perth Amboy, NJ; Coutts & Bro. Groceries, NGC MS63 BN. Another nice store card. Only issuer from this town.

Coutts & Bro

(1861-65), The Federal Union. NGC MS64 BN. Patriotic CW token. Glossy surfaces that are close to RB.

The Federal Union

(1863), New York, NY; T. Brimelow Druggist. NGC MS63 RB. Large diameter token with a Washington reverse and plenty of mint red remaining. Shane did a great write-up on the history of this piece.

T. Brimelow

(1864) George McClellan campaign medal. NGC MS63. A historic piece struck in white metal. Semi-proof like surfaces and great civil war rhetoric on the reverse. A raw, AU piece recently sold for over $300. Reserve on this piece is only $175.

Also up for bid are two early 20th century advertising tokens featuring Santa Claus. They'd make great stocking stuffers for the kids.

Bid early and bid often :) Thanks.
