Ok, I just found out that I won three lots in the Goldberg Sale: all San Marino Early Dollars, two of which are R.7 and one is an R.6.

That leaves me with:

R.8 - 0 out of 8 confirmed;

R.7 - 3 out of 7 confirmed;

R.6 - 3 out of 6 confirmed.

Of course, this begs the question... Shall I stop now, or shall I get greedy and go after more in the Heritage auction? Does anyone here remember how addicted Pittman was? Wasn't he the one who essentially took out a second mortgage on his house to buy more coins?

If the opportunity exists and the funds are available, take it.

Doesn't it depend on what ``available'' means? We can always spend up to a comfy amount. But, what do we do when we need to venture into the uncomfy arena?

I think Linda's Daddy has a real dilemma! A good dilemma, I think...
