Ih Max, I have a MS-66RD 1972 double die that i had sent in to be graded a couple of years ago but I did not have it variety at the time. My question is can I sent this coin in to have it variety added and not have it regraded and if so how can i do this. Thanks Don

Hi Don. Thanks for the question. If it is a variety that is recognized by NGC then you would only need to pay the VarietyPlus fee to have it attributed and reholdered with the variety listed on the label. For a list of varieties recognized by NGC, click here.

Can I follow this up with a related question.

Does the submission for the variety plus only (on currently graded ngc coins) have to be on its own submission form?

Thank You
